Cindy Horstman

Cindy Horstman, through intellect, energy and dedication has expanded the frontiers of art through her original work with the jazz harp.

Cindy’s music spans generations, captivating both old and young alike.  Her exhaustive formal training in music culminated in a Masters of Music from the University of Texas.  After completing her formal training she committed to share her gifts as a Touring Artist for the Texas Commission on the Arts.  She’s been honored with the ASCAP Popular Music Award and the Texas Tornado Strings Award from Buddy Magazine.  Buddy Magazine focuses on original Texas music.

Cindy has played for presidents and paupers.  Each has enjoyed an extraordinary performance by an extraordinary Texan.  Through her unrelenting drive for perfection, Cindy has pursued her goals and honed her talents while serving Texas and the world.

Her accomplishments drive an appreciation of Texas and her people far beyond our borders.  For this, we are grateful.
